Symptoms
There are various different symptoms for Dengue Fever, and the easiest way to describe them would be to compare these symptoms to the common cold, intensified ten-fold. Symptoms of dengue fever may include:
- High Fevers (38-42°C) - Migraines - Back Aches - Joint Pains - Nausea - Vomiting - Rashes - Eye Pain - Swollen Lymph Nodes (Davis, Sierra.) Dengue Fever received the name, "Breakbone Fever" due to the fact that the joint pain may be so severe, that patients feel as if their bones are breaking. It has been observed that infants are more susceptible to fever and rash than other age groups. |
